Meet Austin

Austin was born, raised, and lives in Rhode Island with his wife, two sons, and dog Teddy, and is a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Parish.

He holds degrees in Economics and English from Boston College, where he graduated near the top of his class and received the William A. Kean Memorial Award as Outstanding English Major. He later earned his MBA from Duke University.

Austin's writing is influenced by his love of timeless children's literature, stories of spiritual depth, old movies, science fiction, and the kind of books that can be enjoyed both for their surface adventure and their deeper meaning. He is especially drawn to stories that treat children seriously, honor wonder, and explore courage, humility, forgiveness, gratitude, and faith.

When he is not writing, Austin enjoys coaching youth sports, spending time with family and friends, and building the Veritas & Vine publishing imprint. Through his work, he hopes to create stories that are memorable, meaningful, and rooted in truth.

Austin is a member of the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) and the Catholic Writers Guild.
